It tells the story of how they each got involved in the world of bboying. This piece is not performed by actors...... Each of the performers tells their own unique story, from humble beginnings to performing on the world stage. It's a performance not to be missed.
Experience what it's like to be an outsider in the 'gladiator's circle' as they tell their unique life stories about how they got into this movement, came to survive and finally thrive there. Combining narrative, physical theatre and dance alongside a live score by DJ G-Kut, Life of a B-Boy is essential viewing and sets the standard for hip hop theatre. Each scratch by the DJ represents a moment in time and each record plays the landscape for our young gladiators.
